It’s Whoop-Up Days, and we’re planning a little grassroots get-together for our supporters.
Together with our friends at Common Sense Lethbridge and Project Confederation, we're having a BBQ!
We'll meet at the Henderson Horseshoe Picnic Shelter on Friday, August 23rd, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
To keep the event free and as accessible as possible, it will be BYOHB (Bring Your Own Hot Dogs and Burgers).
But we will provide some snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, and we did have to pay to reserve the location, so if you'd like to make a voluntary donation to help us cover costs, we'd recommend $10 per person.
There's no formal agenda, just a bunch of like-minded Albertans getting together to celebrate the summer season.
We’ll be there, rain or shine, but keep an eye on the weather to see if you'll need an umbrella.
