With the exception of Farkas and possibly Chui, the rest of council needs to go, and it can’t be too soon! They do next to nothing to curb spending at source and simply raise taxes to over their excesses.

Signed: sick of the bloated public service with fat pensions and the totally out of touch big spenders running City Hall

It’s ridiculous, that we put up with and keep voting in such politicians.

Our mayor and council (except for two in this case) could not be further out of touch with reality. I look forward to their 15% salary cut as their little contribution, but I’m not holding my breath.

My business has gone to ZERO revenues, how do you propose I afford a tax hike?

Manage the spending. Our household has seen 2 layoffs already. If private sector is laying off employees who are no longer working, the city should do the same, rather than keeping employees (paid by our taxes) who are kept on the payroll even when the events and services they are hired to support, have been cancelled.

Don’t they relize people are without wages. Of coarse these clowns think the Provincial and Federal Gov’t are going to bail everybody out. Guess what, that has to be paid back too.
