If anything is useless, it’s the plastic formed around product packaging coming from manufacturers.

If any entity is responsible for the trash building up in landfills and oceans – it is the manufacturers. Especially the ones that box up products and use plastic to tape them up; and the producers that nicely wrap products in recyclable clear plastic bags, and then add paper stickers and labels on them (mixed mediums).

Why isn’t bubble wrap or Styrofoam banned.

This current government always attacks the citizens, instead of going after, and penalizing their “double dealing friends” for the infractions they are supposedly trying to curb.

often at a fast food place they will give me a large plastic cup with lid and a paper straw. So frustrating. the straw falls apart. The plastic cup could have made numerous straws. why not a paper cup and a plastic straw???

Recommend real change: Requure commercial/consumer packaging to comprise less than x% plastic by mass relative to the product therein.
