I am a senior living on a fixed income. I don’t get raises and it’s tough enough financially these days, with cost of living increases, higher insurance costs etc. etc., without an added burden of higher taxes! We are taxed to death!!! If there is a surplus as mentioned in the March 12, 2020 update, I am definitely against the increase and would appreciate consideration given to those of us who don’t get “cost of living increases”!

Thank you for doing this. These tax increases have got to stop. We are in a time when tax dollars need to be spent on “need to have” not “nice to have”.

We need to watch closely and vote at the next election against those councillors who dare to vote in favour of tax hike or shift under current economic situation and we need to vote to cut salaries of councillors by 50% if the city shall decide to raise tax instead of reducing tax this year. Thank you.

The city council must pull their heads out of the sand… and that’s a nicer version of what I really mean.

Cut spending by stopping all art projects, all unwanted park upgrades, stop wasting city taxpayers money all “ social engineering “ The city taxpayers are damn angry at fools that spend our money on frivolous and useless projects.
