Get your spending under control. Five years of no economic growth in Calgary and the province means projects have to be put on hold until the economy improves. Maybe the city needs less councillors hence less votes to increase Buisness and property taxes.

Get rid of these spending freaks, help us out Kaycee Maddu, Head Of Municipal Affairs Alberta. Get rid of all City of Calgary Council, lets get some people in there who can do the job for us, the tax payers.

City department crews of 8, needing 3 months, are being “accommodated” (via union) to do what any 2 individuals from “cash corner” can accomplish in one week. And you want to increase residential property taxes to support this? Foxtrot Oscar!

City of Calgary council men/women/whatever … how are pensions looking? I worked O&G for 42 years and my severance/pension is SFA!

IF necessary homeowners should pay more, business taxes should go WAY DOWN and Council should be taking a 5% wage cut across the board and the city hall should also take a CUT of 5% across the board with ZERO spending increases, everything AUDITED by Deloittes and KPMG and a forensic audit done to figure out WHO and HOW MANY to fire – OR FIRE THE ENTIRE CITY ADMINISTRATION AND HIRE AN OUTSIDE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY LIKE CF OR BENTLEY TO PROJECT MANAGE THE ENTIRE CITYETHICALLY AND NORMALLY.

Cut spending and taxes. Eliminate waste such as the “Climate Resiliance Strategy”. Cut salaries and benefits of politicians and city employees making more than 36K/year.

I agree that council has to get their spending under control. Quit hurting the already hurting residents.
